Art Club with Ms. George
In the fall Ceramics Art Club students will get to create a minimum of two clay projects to take home.
The fall semester will meet from 1:40 - 2:45
Drama Club
The FLMS Drama Program seeks to entertain, inspire and educate our audience, community and emerging artists through the creation of musical theatre productions.
Our goals are:
To produce quality theatrical experiences in a positive atmosphere which features the talent of our students.
To bring musical theatre to the community of Freetown and Lakeville.
Extra! Extra! Read ALL about it!
We will cover FLMS sports, student and/or staff special awards and honors, FLMS upcoming events, current events, and MORE!
The FLMS Newspaper Club will be meeting once a month in person and will communicate additionally through email and Google Classroom.

Come join the FLMS Yearbook Club!
There is no sign up. Just come to Mr. Boissonneau's room for the first meeting. He is in 8100, room 113, on the first floor.
The Yearbook Club is open to all students who are interested in participating. We're student-centered: the majority of design choices and actual book-creation are done by the students in the club. We meet monthly to learn about graphic design, photography, advertising & marketing, editing, and professional communication. Members experience everything that goes into creating the yearbook, including developing ideas for content, making and hanging posters to advertise, emailing photo requests, creating the digital pages that will become the final copy...and taking pictures. Lots of pictures!

Chess Club
All skill levels are welcome!
According to the National Scholastic Chess Foundation, learning chess has been shown to help improve visualization and problem solving skills in young people as well as encourage concentration, self-discipline, and risk-taking. These are all happy side-effects of our ultimate goal at FLMS Chess Club - to socialize and play chess with classmates of all skill levels.
To sign up, have your parents/guardians send an email for permission to CDelisle@freelake.org. Include name and grade. Space is limited to 20 students. Pickup time is 3:00PM.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to solve the Rubik's Cube? Can you already solve the Rubik's Cube and just want to come hang out with other cubers to test your skills and learn more? Maybe you want to improve your time and learn new methods. Whatever the reason, if you have any interest in the Rubik's Cube, then Cube Club sounds like it could be just for you. Cube Club starts up right around Thanksgiving so keep your ears open for the announcements and an exact date, time, location. Cube Club will last through the winter, usually ending in early March. We will meet once a week after school with pickup time being at 3:15pm.

Lego Club
Lego Club is a fun, creative group that explores the world of brick building. Students will work independently or collaboratively for 6 weeks and have the opportunity to display their amazing creations.
How to join: Have a parent or guardian email Ms. George. Include your name and grade to cgeorge@freelake.org.
Pick up is promptly at 2:45 PM.
Maximum 20 Students
Students can construct robots that accomplish specific tasks, then code the robot to follow a path, trying to minimize the time during each trial. Students work as a team to discuss assembly techniques and overcome coding bugs.
Grade 7 & 8 students meet in the fall. Grade 6 students meet in the spring.
Listen to morning announcements for each robotics season and see Mr. Friedrichs for an application.
Congratulations to our grade 7 & 8 Robotics team on their outstanding performance on December 7th, 2024. The contest was held at WPI and they came in 12th out of 84 teams!
