Friday September 11th

Fall Sports

The Girls Cross Country team won against Middleboro on Wednesday and the Boys team tied with Middleboro. What a great start to the season!

The boys and girls soccer teams have started praticing, and have their first games next week.  Good luck to all of our teams!

Attendance Matters

Each week we will look at grade level attendance for the week. Our goal is that each day 97% of our student population attends school daily. Please remember if your child is going to be absent for any reason please call the sub line to make us aware of the absence. 

Grade Level Attendance 9/8-9/11

Grade 6: 98.1%
Grade 7: 98%
Grade 8: 97.9%

SEPAC

FreeLake SEPAC invites all parents, guardians, and caregivers to kick off the school year and meet on Tuesday, September 15 from 6:30 - 8:00.  The meeting will take place at the Apponequet Regional High School library.

What is a SEPAC?

A SEPAC is a Special Education Parent Advisory Council. Every public school district in Massachusetts is required to establish a SEPAC. Massachusetts state law assigns both an advisory and a participatory function to SEPACs. Membership is offered to all parents of children with disabilities and other interested parties.

Campus Programs

The Campus Programs Department is offering a Drama Kids International program and Tennis Intramurals for grades 6-8.

Majorettes

The majorettes program provides lessons for students to learn how to twirl baton. They are currently competing in the National Baton Twirling Association (NBTA) events in both MA and NH.
  • Tuesdays starting 9/15 – 5:45-7:45 @GRAIS
  • Thursdays starting 9/10 – 5:30 -7:30 @AES
  • Please note, these dates and times are good through October – and hopefully throughout the entire school year.

We continue to support students and families through the use of our Agenda Website, which can be found through the popular links button on our website.  We encourage students to take responsibility of daily and weekly assignments and to use this website to stay on track with their classwork.
